That's a theory I've been contemplating for a while. I think it's even been longer than that. Trump has been keeping files for decades and buying the freedom of many for future favors. This thing has likely been in the works at different levels for decades…since Kennedy at least.

Here's the question. To what extent did operators have to go in order to get access to inner circles. Mueller might only have a bit of yellow dust on his hands, but others might have had to commit unforgivable acts for the greater good and future posterity.

I don't think Trump was driving anything. I'm not throwing out the "ultimate sleeper" hypothesis, but I would tend more toward a number of these patriotic people finding there way into relationships with a more organized military collaboration.
