For a theory to have any validity, it needs to be falsifiable. If it's not falsifiable, you can extend any larp into infinity.
Either way, for the people who didn't just follow Q-theory from afar but actually committed to it in their real lives, perhaps even telling their loved ones about it, spent their free time not just reading but spreading awareness and memes and such…I think after years of this, those people at least deserve a bone to be thrown that proves in some way that they didn't just work in vain and embarrass themselves in front of their loved ones or worse. Lord knows, some took it too seriously. If 20th is a nothingburger…well I think that's just a real middle finger to the face of the people who committed to "the plan". I don't have a dog in this fight, since I followed Q only sporadically, but I know some people were really committed and really believed it with all their heart.
