Rapid gunfire was reported at multiple locations, according to a Facebook post by Mount Pocono Mayor Michael Penn. There are four known victims at multiple crime scenes, Penn said.
Multiple victims were found at A Pocono Country Place on Ledgewood Drive, according to a Monroe County Office of Emergency Management Facebook post. A shooting also happened at the Tobyhanna Shopping Center on Route 196.
Police also found a victim by Kings Way and Route 196. Police got another report of somebody with a gunshot wound at Kings Way and Campbell Drive.
Police are working under the premise that the shootings are connected, according to the county office of emergency management.
Police are asking those on the 196 corridor between Pocono Country Place and Pocono Farms East to shelter in place and to report any suspicious activity, state Trooper Anthony Petroski said in a Twitter post.

Authorities are still looking for the shooters, Penn said.
