in either one, a tiny group of people end up owning everything, and the rest of us are fucked. the only difference is the make-believe name on the deed.

in capitalism, the most ruthless, cutthroat "capitalist" drives all the competitors out of business then buys their assets for pennies on the dollar, and creates a monopoly that crushes anything that threatens its stranglehold (like new technologies), and gradually takes over everything by acquisition and merger. in the end, elites own everthing and the gov't exists solely to put a rubber stamp of approval an any atrocity they commit, and supplies them with the goons (military) to enforce their hegemony. in socialism, the gov't confisactes everthing and owns everything, and the elites run the gov't. either way peons get FUCKED.
