The switch in companies? I can't for the life of me remember where, but I have a recollection of the US taking on debt from China during the Civil War. Competing interests then between the powers that now be. Might also explain as to why the Rothschilds began to lose their grip when Natty got tossed from that coal deal in SE Asia.

The Civil War part was either the Chinese Bankrolling us in the 1860s after the Greenback stuff, or us bankrolling them during their Civil War.

I'm just not finding and it is a long ways from what I read and heard back in the oil patch days.
