The activity itself? No.
The number of ships? No, if there is an exercise going on.
The KINDS of ships is what I find interesting. There's a Command and Control ship, at least one marine helo deck amphib assault ship, and a BUNCH of destroyers.
There's also at least one, possibly two ocean underwater surveillance boats.
Whatever it is, the Nav is coordinated and they don't want A DAMN THING coming into San Diego waters below the surface. And that's a shitload of anti-air (possibly anti-ICBM) firepower out on the water, too.
