While digging on various things associated with Sidney Dillard came across the following (Sidney is on the planning committee - if sauce required will link is but is in a flip file buried in the annual report of the Chicago Academy of Sciences):

One of the major fundraising balls in Chicago….and it really is called the Butterfly ball……and the top top donors are called Monarchs……must be a coincidence

Am going to post this to v/pizzagate where I sometimes lurk and see if we can get them to dig on this….who knows

are we looking for the v/pizzagate view on the ratlines?

not sure that there is anything structural in the archives….lots of interesting discussion from the early days but mainly around Saudi ownership of buildings in the vicinity of Comet.

And a couple of threads around shipping companies again with Saudi connections if I remember correctly…

or was it something else you're getting at?

I don't think we've seen anything like proof of that. Though given the players involved it wouldn't surprise me.

The first step would be to figure out the various relationships between Loop, Charitable foundations they donate to and then tie this via foundation board members back into Corporations that have used Loop services for IPOs or Bond underwriting.

Second step would be to show that the Loop was overcompensated in the IPO or Bond underwriting.

Third step would be to show a correlation between overcompensation and foundation donations.

Showing all three (a closed loop so to speak) would be pretty good circumstantial evidence of corruption.

Unfortunately I don't have the financial expertise for steps 2 and 3. So focusing on step 1.
