Boatfag Update Report

Update on the HONG KONG SPIRIT off the SoCal coast, about 50-ish nm S of Long Beach. See cap.

She's now showing restricted maneuverability and current heading shows due west.

Previously she was not underway. There appears to be a pilot boat or some other personnel boat in attendance and a tug nearby. Will continue watch. Won't be able to go round-the-clock so any other Boatfag who can pick up the track around 2300 eastern time would be appreciated.

GK out.

Boatfag reply about Chinese vessels in the Port of Baltimore

Noted. Not saying there is no capability but consider it less likely. Both ships, SHANDONG DE HONG and AN CHANG, are bulk carriers.

That means they haul shit like coal, bulk corn, not boxed items.

Also, SHANDONG DE HONG is a Marshall Islands-flagged vessel. The only ChiCom ship is AN CHANG.

Boatfag out.
