I agree. There is a more fundamental point at stake also: FREEDOM.

In a free society, individuals have the absolute right to determine how they wish to nourish or medicate themselves. Governments do not have the right to interfere with this fundamental individual liberty. The point applies to all manner of freedom, including but not limited to health and nutrition.
