The probability of US intel agencies not knowing who or what was behind the Q op after 3+ years is vanishingly small. It would have been so simple to kill it off, so why wasn’t it done? No one in the media ever addresses that simple question.

That could only be the case, (and even then it’s doubtful with the cyber tools now available), if the sponsor were a nation state or similar category of sophisticated actor. What if Q had been a Russian destabilization/confusion op? Think that would have been allowed to run “unmolested” for 3 years? That seems improbable.
