If McConnell actually DID threaten Trump with that, then Assange is definitely pardoned. At this point, I don't think that there is anywhere for McConnell to run. He can't go back to Kentucky. He can't stay in D.C. and I doubt if he would make it all the way to Shanghai. Not even with the almost certain help of those who got Snowden out of the country.
