IPFS seems to address shareable documents.
The document paradigm is not as editable as a database/data grid.
Documents stores like Hadoop Large clustered File systems are hard to query because they are string based 75mb chunks parsed sector by sector.
Strings are only one way to query. They must read entire pages. Hadoop DFS would require 75mb downloads at a time.
We need to query by adding filters cumulatively to get finer grained results.
Ex:
Between date-a and date-b
baker true
vetted true
text "some word(s)"
Then if we get the results we should be able to sort on any field with the ability to modify the record.
Right, I am flat broke but the DNS and TSL/SSL is not the expensive part, it is the bandwidth for all those pics being up/downloaded, plus the cost of the servers whether on cloud or on premise.
A distributed file system by peer to peer communication sort of like napster did it would require each member to have a service running on their machine to publish/subscribe to data.
