Well, that would fuck up the surfing and kids day at the beach, but the near shore fishing should be really good. ;-)

Might be why everybody on the stand had that "oh shit" look and why Garth Brooks couldn't run up the steps fast enough after the last note of his song. There were a fuck of a lot of guilty people out there … guilty and afraid of a moment of reckoning.

These public appearances for them are like Russian Roulette. They can pull the trigger on an empty chamber hundreds of times, but the hammer can only come down on a load exactly once.

I deeply appreciate the effort you went to, however it hangs and will not download for me, asking if I would like to use another viewer. The viewer I use has worked for hundreds of documents … so I don't think that the viewer is the problem. Someone else found a downloadable copy of it on the wayback machine and I was able to download and view it with no problem. That leaves me to believe that the copy you uploaded was somehow corrupted in the process.

Shit happens.

I do not claim that Pillow is scared … but that his actions were intended to scare. If Brennan is to be believed, we are in a fight for our literal lives.

Lots of Mexicans are going to be pissed at him. Just as they were getting raises and buying houses, Biden is bringing the discount hoards over the border again. The Mexicans who got here legally and proved up on their citizenship are not going to be happy about that.

Depends on context. In navigation / cartography, it refers to the Great Circle. I think that term might also be found in the occult (memory is foggy).

To move it out of the lab into reality.

And will remain that way until the programming we are intended to see resumes. Paul Stamets writes about a mushroom in the Pacific Northwest that is the worlds largest living thing.

A mushroom.

But the rhizomes from its base radiate out for ~26 square miles. They are used for communication (injury in one location is met by an electrical response throughout the network) and transfer of nutrients from considerable distances from an area of plenty, to an area of want. So, in effect, the mushroom has developed a gigantic nervous system that doubles as a conduit for nutrients. Very efficient. This supports an immense field of fruiting bodies - the visible, sometimes edible portion - that come and go, but it's all just one single organism.

You will never see that network. It's all buried beneath ground and interacts in a symbiotic fashion with uncounted miles of tree roots. Nearly all of it isn't even visible to the naked eye. But you can easily see the part the mushroom is willing for you to see … when it suits the purposes of the mushroom to show you.

That's us … trying to plot that field of rhizomes from the sporadic appearance of the fruiting bodies. We're not very good at it, but our success and failures serve as a useful measure of how much is visible to the DS. It's not likely that they can see much more of it than we can. Despite all the crap we have to wade through there is an awful lot of mental capacity here through the day. We each arrive fresh, get up to speed, dig in and, as we tire or are pulled away by circumstances, are replaced by others who are freshly arrived. The DS has a LOT of money at their command … but they don't have us. We are the thousand monkeys in the room, each thinking he's the third monkey up Noah's ramp.
