Legit question. Did the people that went to Washington on Jan 6th over ride Congress certification of Biden?

Washington residents have no voice in Congress but can vote in Presidential elections.

If there is aprox 572K residents of Washington, and Washington is for All people , then wouldn't it make sense that people in numbers greater than 572K from all over the Country became the voice for DC in Congress on that day? That voice said all 50 States demand a stop to the hearing to certify Biden.

Why did Trump say he made sure our voices were heard in his speech at the airport yesterday? They were silenced not heard.
