Lieutenants are the least respected ranks (there are two 1st and 2nd Lts) in the Marine Corps.
This view is shared by those above them and those below them.
They're basically high preforming college kids (excluding mustangs) that haven't had their egos tempered by experience and life. This as you can imagine, makes them very unlikable - generally.
But these two are likely in deep shit - never make the Marine Corps look bad. The wrath is coming for them…
