I'm comfy but it's coming from trusting in the Lord.
A parallel to today can be found in Christ's death. Had Christ done exactly what the Apostles wanted, and rose up to lead Israel and defy Rome, we would not have the amazing victory over some and death that we do today. Similarly, had everything gone the way we had exactly wanted, what sort of amazing victory would our future generations miss out on?
I'm trying not to be a goalpost mover, but I have come to realize that God's plans are not our plans, and there's a much larger, deeper game at play here. However that turns out, I praise God for his victory.
