Yes, because God's plan is perfect. The evil is necessary so that we can have free will. If there were not evil then there would be nothing to 'choose' between.

If there were no evil we would not be tested. The purpose of testing is to separate the believers from unbelievers.

The purpose of being tested is so that we can learn to trust God. We learn to trust him by seeing him never fail us or forsake us. We learn to trust him because he never changes. He shows us he's the same yesterday, today & forever. He is steadfast in his love.

 

Here's another thing anon โ€ฆ if we didn't know failure - how would we know what success feels like?

If we didn't know what disappointment felt like how would we know what happiness feels like?

 

It's like a roller coasterโ€ฆ.without having gone down we'd never know how exhilarating being on the top can be.
