When asked to show the "science" California says NO

With the highest cases in the country and some of the strictest lockdown restrictions in place, California leaders are now saying key data on the virus is not being made public because it would 'mislead' the public.

Tight restrictions were put in place due to rising cases after Thanksgiving and Christmas, and cases were expected to continue to rise due to holiday travel, according to the Associated Press.

"These fluid, on-the-ground conditions cannot be boiled down to a single data point – and to do so would mislead and create greater uncertainty for Californians," said state Health and Human Services Agency spokeswoman Kate Folmar.

Models and data from the state have been withheld from the public, and the state's restaurant association president Condie won in court last month after a judge ordered Los Angeles County to release data supporting the restaurant dining closure order, which the county acknowledged they did not have.

You gotta ask yourself why ?

https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/matt-margolis/2021/01/22/biden-press-secretary-jen-psaki-fails-to-condemn-antifa-violence-n1406106

Joe Biden’s press secretary, Jen Psaki, failed to condemn antifa rioters who committed acts of vandalism and property destruction in Portland, Ore., and Seattle, Wash., this week.

“Does the president have any comment on the ongoing violence in Oregon and Washington State?” asked a reporter.

“Well, certainly, we had our team on the ground, our national security team, even before 12:01, early in the morning on Inauguration Day because we wanted to be able to monitor events happening across the country and any unrest that was resulting from the last couple of weeks,” Psaki began. “I haven’t spoke with him specifically about those events but it is something our national security team, Liz Sherwood-Randall, is closely monitoring, of course, but if we have an additional update I’m happy to provide it to you.”

The truth is, this isn’t shocking at all. Kamala Harris called the BLM protests, which resulted in an estimated $1 – $2 billion in property damage between May 26 and June 8, 2020, and dozens of deaths, including that of retired St. Louis police officer David Dorn, a “movement” that “should not” stop.

“They’re not going to stop. They’re not going to stop. This is a movement, I’m telling you. They’re not gonna stop. And everyone beware because they’re not gonna stop. They’re not gonna stop before Election Day and they’re not going to stop after Election Day. And everyone should take note of that. They’re not gonna let up and they should not.”

Apple paid a lobbying firm $90,000 to “educate policymakers” about a bill to prevent U.S. imports of goods made with forced labor by China’s Uyghur population, according to lobbying disclosure documents.

China has compelled members of the Uyghur and other Muslim minorities to work in various factories and in cotton fields in Xinjiang Province. A bill passed by the House and currently under consideration in the Senate, the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, would ban imports of any goods from Xinjiang unless customs officials can verify that they were not made with forced labor.

Apple, Nike, Coca-Cola, and several retail groups hired lobbyists to work on issues related to the Uyghur forced labor bill, according to documents first reported by the Daily Caller. Apple paid $90,000 each to Invariant LLC and Fierce Government Relations.

Invariant’s disclosure filing states that Apple hired the firm to “Educate policymakers on issues related to workforce and supply chains in China, H.R. 6210, Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act.”
