Congress is cheap though - compared to the return on your investment (billions), very cheap. They'll happily sell this country's people and freedoms as long as they and their families benefit financially.
Simulations aren't science. Software engineers can make the code return any number you want, regardless of what the input is. I'm not saying simulations don't have any use, that depends on the simulation, but they aren't science.
