Only reason I can conjure up to explain going through all the trouble is simply to get patriots 'engaged' enough to be labeled at terrorists for gun grab.

That being the case… seems that would be an inevitability, thus we haven't lost much in exchange for some newly obtained clarity.

That being the case, all 3 branches + MIL are actively complicit & that has a bad ending
