Very interested in education issue. Primary age grandsons, anon helping mainly with 6 yr old. Did OU child devpt course when my first born was a baby, also taught secondary school level. IMO, the current primary curriculum is not suitable for children's developmental stages. It is over-complicated, doesn't provide sufficient repetition to embed concepts & darts around in a very confusing manner. IMO it's designed to destroy confidence, and be so boring & complicated as to turn children off school. Big on the feelz & doesn't promote logical thinking.
