Well we were warned not to try to awaken those who weren't ready (and no, I didn't listen closely to those wise words either). But my new found hope is really just my original hope with the benefit of new lessons, and ever more humility, and more humility was always part of my "personal plan" anyhow. No pain no gain, so they say. As far as shame, however, I've concluded that is really a holdover of lack of humility. Shame for the anon who walks in the light should probably be put to death.

Isaiah 50:7

But the Lord God helps me; therefore I have not been disgraced; therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame.

Romans 10:11

For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
