THE YELLOW PENCIL

Pencils have been painted yellow ever since the 1890s. And that bright color isn’t just so you can find them on your desk more easily! In fact, the yellow pencil has a much deeper history than you might expect.

 

During the 1800s, the best graphite in the world came from China. American pencil makers wanted a special way to tell people that their pencils contained Chinese graphite.

 

In China, the color yellow is associated with royalty and respect. American pencil manufacturers began painting their pencils bright yellow to communicate this “regal” feeling and association with China. However, according to Henry Petroski’s history of the pencil, the European producer Koh-I-Noor was the first to introduce a yellow pencil.

My favorite was Lot offering his daughters up to be ravaged by sexual deviants in place of the angels, and then saving his family from the destruction of S&G as his wife took a peek and got pillared by the site of God smiting the degenerates. Then, his daughters got him drunk, and fucked his brains out like degenerates.

Could easily still be 10 days of darkness, watching a movie, all of them under direct orders and Nat Gaurd is deployed to make sure they don't do anything crazy (ANTIFA was infiltrated to help stage the event to issue insurrection act) and national guard is really there to keep order while they get exposed (dark to light, see what they immediately try to do how long it takes them to get us right back in war before it all comes crumbling down).
