The white house staff has a well-established process of switching out the office decor quickly on inauguration day. The incoming admin picks out items from a collection of available antiques, art, sculptures, etc.
There are several desks but most presidents choose the resolute desk for obvious reasons. Other art and sculptures come and go, but the rug, couches, and wallpaper are the items that are easily refreshed.
For me, the new carpet doesn't work and the bust of Chavez is creepy. Everything else looks like it's from the white house collection.
