The backdrop is the Access Hollywood tape dropped 2 days before those emails were written, on Oct. 7th. Ryan wrongfully assumed that was going to be the end of Potus nomination. Any other person it would have been. So, Ryan quickly tries to put together another option for voters. Otherwise, HRC would have won. Turns out Potus just ignores the tape and goes about his business of winning the election…KeK!
