I am not so sure about that, I was getting $3 for a 8oz (2 for $5) bag of sweet chunky lettuce mix at farmers market 2 seasons ago. Got to the store is is $3 for a 5 oz bag. So almost a doubling in price.
I was in the 100s of pounds a week range, not a huge operation but not small either.
