I understand that concern. It can feel that way, but it is an illusion. God is real. Jesus is real. I know from my own personal near death experience a few years ago.
I was concerned about all the evil in our world, the cabal, etc., and I asked Jesus the same type of question. He knowingly smiled, and said that He knew ALL that was happening, (I'm paraphrasing). He assured me that they would be allowed to go only so far, but ultimately He was in control, and He left it with, "everything is as it should be.":
That normally would not have satisfied me, but in that time and "place," there was tremendous love, that I had no fear. (More love than I though could exist. I felt it fill me, and reassure me.)
Believe it or not, it is up to you; but, I know it is true. God loves us more than any earthly father can love their children.
It will be okay.
