Elections are supposed to represent "the will of the people" as outlined in the Electoral College. Yet fabricated election results do not represent "the will of the people". It represents the will of those who are fabricating the results. Slight contradiction.

Regardless of whatever all the legal jargon says, all elections are simple to comprehend. It's "The will of the people", what is intended by their very actions of going to the polls and casting their votes in the first place. You vote for A or B, et. your vote is supposed to be counted accordingly, not by any random desired effect based upon some political agenda. This is what everything else is about, protecting that process. All of the laws, etc. are to guarantee that that is the process that take's place.
