home alone this past wednesday

on laptop doing some work and lurking QR at same time

9:45am Central time

lost power

computer, tv, everything went off

i said to myself

oh shiiiitttt, it's happening!!! i freaked out for a second

composed myself

put on some headphones and listened to music for a couple of hours

spouse came home

i said power out for 2 hours

spouse: yea i know

me:do you know, did inauguration happen?

spouse: yes, i listened to it on radio in car

i could not freakin believe it

just a random power outage

at the very time!

i looked at spouse and said: have we been taken for a ride?

spouse: looks like it

this is a true story

it was the suckiest of days

spouse and i have recomposed

are hopeful again

but my time is limited here

just thought i'd share
