I think about all the brave men and women who in the past had laid down their lives to defend this nation… Then, I think about how NONE will do so, today. Would I? I think so, had I been afforded a military life, instead of a parental one.
I would wager that 70% of the military and 70% of the population are against what is happening right now. And that if they/we rose up in force to take back this country, nothing could stop them/us. I think of Patriotic songs I grew up singing, with lines like, "…land of the free, home of the brave", and I say to myself, "Where is this land? Who are these people? I do not see them…"
Sure, I am aware of a number of Patriots, however, not in any sufficient or significant number. If you are honest with yourself, you know this too. This nation has simply grown soft. Franklin said something along the lines of, "those who will not fight for their freedom, do not deserve it"… Perhaps he was right, and God himself has deemed complacent Americans unworthy of the continued enjoyments of freedom.
I hear Americans commonly speak of the "cowardice" of the French, yet I see the "yellow vests" taking to the street in significant number, in a fight for their freedoms. While Americans play video-games, watch football and when they get around to it, bitch and moan about the political state of this nation on social-media, while never taking to the streets themselves.
And make no mistake… Taking to the streets, and ACTUALLY doing something, is what the corrupt fear most, be IT WORKS. The corrupt do not fear being called out online. They fear the pitchfork and the torch.
When I hear of calls for "peaceful protests", I think of how the corrupt must be chuckling to themselves, saying, "Thank Lucifer, that these fucking imbeciles actually think their 'peaceful protests' will compel us to hold ourselves accountable. If they ever learned to exercise their 2nd Amendment right which they hold so dearly, in vain, we would be in deep-shit overnight and facing certain death or exile".
I imagine God, our founding fathers, and many of our ancestors past, are looking down on us from above and shaking their heads in disappointment and embarrassment. How could they have given life to such a wretched, weak and unwilling bunch?
