Most Masons we know are low level and likely unaware of what goes on at the higher ranks. Also, it is designed so "good" people likely won't make it far in it, much like other parts of society. For example, how far in Politics or the stock exchange do you think someone could make it if they were truly honest and moral? (excluding POTUS, of course)
