The future of interstellar space travel is with the US NAVY. Long voyages to remote locations, sometimes lasting many years...
The first voyages will be designed to return to Earth... But thereafter, voyages will leave Earth [with colonists] to find new homes, among the stars. Some voyages to distant stars will require several generations of humans to survive...
It will not be easy. Humanity is not alone, and we will be opposed!!!
Phil's Engine is 'the key' to the bottomless pit [outer space]. (Rev 9:1) ~ develops approximately 10^18 watts << one engine!
Current sum total of Earth's *power capacity is ~ 2x10^15 watts [total of all coal-fired, gas-fired, oil-fired, hydro & nuclear]
...Phil's Engine max power level is about ~ 1,000 Earth's..And, when you think about it...(((you))) are going to need that kind of power to travel to the stars!
