Q,

HospitalFag here. Drug shortages are becoming a huge issue for us. Everything from saline bags to narcotic pain meds. We are told the Puerto Rico hurricane knocked out a huge percentage of manufacturing and now the drug companies are unable to meet demand. At least that is the story.

It is obvious that those in control of PR have purposely slowed down efforts to rebuild. Is there more to this story? Did the executive order from December have any further effect on companies and their ability to supply medications?

Also, is there any plan to roll back sterile compounding regulations associated with the United States Pharmacopeia? The hurdles and expenses are becoming worse every single year. This all started about 10-15 years ago and has become progressively worse. Funny I have never seen any studies supporting the necessity of these regulations, and I know many people have become very wealthy selling services and supplies.

Given all the other revelations we have seen, I suspect that nearly everything associated with big pharma is corrupt. I am almost ashamed to be in this profession.

I know this is small potatoes compared to freeing us from the threat of thermonuclear war. Just hoping we will begin purging the corruption here soon.

I try to red pill as many as I can each day. God bless. Thank you and all who fight for us.
