Yes I remember very clearly. I was very lucky my father came home in 1972 from his third tour in Vietnam. He turned down E9 because it meant a fourth tour . In 1989 I went to Washington DC and spent four days there with a group called to Freedom now Foundation. They were dedicated former pows and former soldiers who were attempting to find our pows and bring them home. Upon my departure I was giving a list of sightings since 1972 of some of the pows. When I returned back to Virginia I was greeted an hour later by the naval investigative service. They took everything I came back with including the papers. I was returned my flag and my book that I got there after a six-hour conversation. And it was suggested heavily that I do not go back to DC.
