I never talk that way but now I do. I have nobody. No kids, no family. Just you. Patriots. My country is everything to me. I watch other people’s kids play, grow up, get married, have kids, grandkids. I’ve longed to have a son or daughter. Wasn’t in my cards. But I have this overwhelming compulsion, desire to protect them.
