Logically or evidentially what’s left?
Practically who has the power or the loyalty to step in?
And can that be justified by the book?
And could the public accept that?

No but also at the end of the world in revelation, we are losing for a time and the world in the power of evil, mark of the beast and all that
Revelation is hard to interpret but there’s specific timespans like in 13 which says 42 months
The time in revelation is triggered by certain events and actions that if not too abstract should be very obvious. Like 2 apostles being killed, the world laughing for 2 days and then coming back to life.
