>It's moar of a heart issue and no I don't hear audible voices…
It's the impression that you get?
-cues trumpets-
>God speaks to me mostly by images which could be comprehended in any language.
Now is this the hallucination variety or the dream (possibly lucid) variety or the imagination variety?
>Also by bringing my attention to something and giving me an internal nudge.
That makes more sense than the others.
>Sometimes thru something even an unbeliever happens to say.
It's amazing how often you see the number 23 when it's something you think about on the regular… even when you least expect it!
>I don't want to limit God or rather put God in a box on how he choses to speak to anyone.
A book is just a box filled with pages, and in the Bible's case, one that limits how and who He chooses to talk to.
Amazing how God hasn't had anything to say nor do worth writing down in so long, though.
>Something to keep in mind… He is good and has good intentions toward you/us.
I thought He was and the Creator of All?
Even the Bible admits that Evil comes from God, whether directly or via non-interventionism.

>Most important… spend some time getting to know Him by reading the Bible…
Mmmmm…. shouldn't I get to know God by talking to God as if They are a close friend?
God only talked to folks in the Middle East and just sorta… left everyone else to fend for themselves?
Why not read something like the Zend Avesta?
(I highly suggest you read the Zend Avesta. You'll understand so much more about Christianity than you ever will be reading the Bible over and over.)
>Doesn't matter what book, chapter, verse.
Even the brazenly made up stories, such as Esther? What about the works that weren't actually written by Paul?
Some of the letters come to mind.
>I met Him reading Ezekiel which most Bible scholars don't recommend… good thing I didn't wait to consult them.
Why would anyone tell you not to read Ezekiel???
