I haven't looked too diligently, but so far have not seen anyone make mention of the fact that the "Masterpiece" that Trump is unveiling in Jon McNaughton's painting is a painting by Korean artist, Yongsung Kim, that has been posted numerous times on QResearch, entitled, "the Hand of God".

McNaughton cannot copy exactly the work of another living artist without copyright infringement issues, so he uses a different medium (original is a watercolor) but it appears to be a clear reference to the original painting and its pertinent [positive] symbolism.

Only way to find out for sure is to ask McNaughton himself if that was the inspiration for the painting being unveiled in "The Masterpiece", much as Notre Dame and probably everything in that painting was inspired by something already in existence?!
