Steve Hilton Report: Dr. Anthony Fauci Is Directly Responsible with Funding the Gain-of-Function Studies that Resulted in Coronavirus Pandemic

FOX News host Steve Hilton opened his Sunday night show with startling development on the origins of the coronavirus.

Hilton discussed the Gain-of-Function research that helps define the fundamental nature of human-pathogen interactions. One of the greatest laboratories researching Gain-of-Function science was the Wuhan Institute of Virology in Wuhan, China.

Gain-of-Function research is highly controversial. In 2014 the Obama Administration cut funding to the risky biological study. The government made the decision following biosafety incidents at federal research laboratories.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that the Obama administration later gave $3.7 million to the Wuhan Institute of Virology after the US program was shut down.

Steve Hilton reported on Sunday that Dr. Anthony Fauci is on record cheering research where potentially dangerous viruses are generated in the lab.

Foreign States Are "Clearly Behind" Pro-Navalny Rallies, Say Russian Lawmakers

A top Russian lawmaker has condemned Saturday's sizeable pro-Navalny protests which involved clashes with police across multiple cities including Moscow and St. Petersburg as "foreign-backed".

Andrey Klimov, the official who chairs the Senate's "Federation Council for the Protection of State Sovereignty and Prevention of Interference in Russia's Internal Affairs," told Rossiya-1 TV channel on Sunday:

"The commission [of the Federation Council] has reason to believe that the actions of foreign states are clearly behind all these events and all this is happening with the foreign specialists' assistance," according to TASS.

He alleged further the 'unauthorized' demonstrations at the urging of jailed Kremlin opposition leader Alexei Navalny were organized primarily on "foreign digital platforms and messengers."

"This is an illegal act itself," Klimov added. A separate statement from another top official said the commission is "ready to promptly examine the files about the possible involvement of foreign forces in disseminating calls to participate in unauthorized events in a number of social networks next weekend."

The means that further Navalny-related demonstrations, which there are sure to be more of according to his supporters both in Russia and the West, will be deemed "illegal" from the start, and further harsh crackdowns will ensue.

Dershowitz: Calls to Disbar Giuliani ‘McCarthyism’ — ‘I Would Defend Him to the Depths of My Being’

During a Sunday appearance on New York WABC 770 AM radio’s “The Cats Roundtable,” Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz weighed in on the push to disbar former President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani. The calls to investigate and disbar the former New York City mayor are in response to Giuliani’s claims of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election and remarks he made at a rally shortly before a group of Trump supporters breached the U.S. Capitol.

Dershowitz likened the calls to disbar Giuliani to “McCarthyism.” He told host John Catsimatidis that he would “defend” Giuliani to the depths of his being to have the right to represent his client’s wishes to challenge the election.

“It’s McCarthyism. I grew up during McCarthyism when the lawyers were being disbarred for representing clients that people didn’t like,” Dershowitz advised. “Rudy is a lawyer. And that’s what he is supposed to do. And if his client says, ‘Challenge the election,’ he challenges the election. If you don’t agree with his analysis, answer it in the court of public opinion. But don’t disbar him. Are we going to disbar Adam Schiff? Adam Schiff got on the floor of the Senate and the House and lied through his teeth about a range of things, including Russian collusion, and including me.”

He continued, “[W]hen we start going after lawyers who are representing clients, we’re really undercutting the Constitution. And so I hope the bar association thinks differently about it. If it doesn’t, I will help Rudy. I will help defend him. I will be a witness for him. I’ve known Rudy for, what, 45 years. We disagree about almost everything. And yet, I would defend him to the depths of my being for being a lawyer.”

Australia Hits Back At Google, Facebook: It's "Inevitable" You'll Soon Pay For Hosting Australian News

Neither side is backing down after weeks of standoff between the Australian government and Google over proposed legislation aimed at better compensating and rewarding local news publishers, while bringing greater transparency to the way algorithms employed by Google, Facebook, and YouTube work.

Canberra is now finalizing the bill which will require Google to obtained licenses for all content published by Australian news companies. Google's parent company Alphabet Inc. oversees an estimated at least 94% of all search traffic in Australia, similar to many other countries globally, at a time it's coming under increased accusations of using its monopoly power to bully content providers and smaller competitors.

Australia's Federal Treasurer and deputy leader of the Liberal Party Josh Frydenberg said on Sunday that it's "inevitable" that the Silicon Valley tech giants will be paying to use and present Australian content on their platforms and in search engines.

Dr. Fauci needs to be held responsible for COVID-19 mistakes: Devine

In his inauguration speech, President Biden pledged to “defend the truth and to defeat the lies.”

So let’s start by being brutally honest about Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has been the source of some of the most damaging misinformation about COVID-19.

At the very least, the nation’s top infectious-diseases expert and chief medical adviser to Biden is loose with the facts and is prone to changing his mind.

This is the man who dictated coronavirus policy in the Trump administration. If mistakes were made, as the Biden administration claims, they are Fauci’s.

Yet, astonishingly, Fauci told CNN Friday that a “lack of candor” from the Trump administration had cost American lives.

But if people’s lives really were at stake last year, why did he wait until now to tell us?

Chalk it up to another convenient fib from a habitual fibber, who has deceived us on everything from masks to herd immunity.

Even if you decide these are not lies but lapses of judgment by Fauci, they had potentially lethal consequences.

Take, for instance, Fauci’s serenity back on Jan. 21 last year, when he assured us that the virus convulsing China at the time “is not something the citizens of the United States should be worried about.”

To be fair, the pandemic caught a lot of people unaware, but the thing about Fauci is that he always is so sure of himself.

The following week, he was at it again, vehemently opposing Donald Trump’s proposed flight ban from China, which Biden at the time decried as “xenophobia.”

It was Jan. 28, and Trump had asked his trade adviser, Peter Navarro, into the Situation Room to convince Fauci and other officials that the China travel ban would save lives.

“The guy I fought the most that day was Fauci,” Navarro told me Sunday. “He was adamantly opposed to the travel ban. All he kept saying was travel restrictions don’t work.”

Navarro pushed back, “ ‘If you stop 20,000 Chinese nationals coming in every day and some are infected, you’re telling me that’s not going to spread the virus?’ It was like talking to a brick wall.”

The next day, Navarro wrote a memo outlining three options: If you do nothing and there’s no danger, that’s OK; if you do the travel ban and there’s no danger, you lose a few million dollars; but if you do nothing and there is danger, the risk is a million American lives and more than $2 trillion in damages.

“I papered everybody in the task force with the memo and . . . it flipped everyone to supporting the president,” Navarro said.
