Agreed, but we've had bases all over the world. Maybe not for centuries, but, would be the same as us annexing… The UK, because we want a presence in Europe. Russia could have kept their base there, leasing the ground(like we do with our bases), without annexation. I'm not saying what Russia did was a bad thing, just saying. I'm definitely not a muh Russia fag.
