the deeper point here is that scientists have prejudices of perception… just look at the huge controversy in quantum physics about the observer effect, that the conscious act of observing alters space/time/matter/energy…
physicists set out to explain everything , but when confronted with a situation where consciousness causes a physical effect, they want to block that out and say that consciousness isn't doing that…
and look at Einstein (a bad apple?) saying that God does not play dice with the universe, when in just a simple radioactive decay experiment, it cannot be predicted which atom in a sample will decay next, but only that half of the atoms will decay in 11 hours…
