Check out PEAR
The project proved the influence (however small) via Computers on outcomes via individual consciousness of machine operators
Results were "deep sixed"
Project closed in '07
Stunning results, significant

There is a difference between past and future. A dividing line, which is the Now
Now is not a point , but it is spread out, Fuzzy
The farther in the future something is
The harder to predict it, or influence it?
Why?
Because it's not set yet.
Time has a direction
"The future is an open book"
That's why your choices matter
Without that, there is zero free will
Transhumanists believe the world is a machine, no soul, and therefor no free will and therefor, ironically, their drive to control.
We might not have 100% free will
(Only God has that)
But we have significantly more than Zero.
The farther the duration in time between the viewer and the event of interest, the less the precognitive effect. It's inverse correlation.
I've experienced this myself subjectively
cf. Work of scientist Rupert Sheldrake who studies telepathy
I would guess the effect drops off to the inverse square?
It's shown that family members have better results with each other. And that some beings / animals are more talented at this than others
