RUDY BRINGS THE FIRE: Giuliani Responds to $1.3 Billion Dominion Lawsuit AND IT’S EPIC

As reported earlier by Cassandra Fairbanks — Dominion Voting Systems filed a massive $1.3 billion lawsuit against former New York City Mayor and Trump Attorney Rudy Giuliani.

The controversial company filed a lawsuit for the same amount against pro-Trump attorney Sidney Powell, who has also been fighting tooth and nail against election fraud, earlier this month.

Dominion’s director of product strategy and security, Eric Coomer, also filed a lawsuit in December against President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, Giuliani, Powell, Newsmax, One America News Network, OANN reporter Chanel Rion, Michelle Malkin, and others that he has accused of civil conspiracy and the intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The 107 page lawsuit against Giuliani was filed in the Federal District Court in Washington, D.C., on Monday morning.

Dominion claims that allegations of election fraud were “demonstrably false.” It also brought up the protest at the Capitol on January 6 for some reason. In fact their announcement to attack Rudy Giuliani reads like something from a far-left publication.

Later this morning Rudy Giuliani responded to the Dominion Voting Systems announcement.

Rudy says he looks forward to investigating their history, finances and practices fully and completely.

Via WABC Radio:

Giuliani, who is also a host for WABC radio, issued the following statement:

“Dominion’s defamation lawsuit for $1.3B will allow me to investigate their history, finances, and practices fully and completely. The amount being asked for is, quite obviously, intended to frighten people of faint heart. It is another act of intimidation by the hate-filled left-wing to wipe out and censor the exercise of free speech, as well as the ability of lawyers to defend their clients vigorously. As such, we will investigate a countersuit against them for violating these Constitutional rights.” – Rudy Giuliani

Newsom Lifts Strict Stay-at-Home Order From All CA Regions Even Though Covid Cases Are Higher Than When Order Started in December

It’s a Biden miracle!

California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) lifted the strict regional stay-at-home order from all regions across the state even though Covid cases and deaths are soaring.

The 7 day average of new cases is higher now than it was in early December when Gavin Newsom imposed the regional lockdowns and curfew.

In December Newsom introduced regional stay-at-home orders which is triggered when ICU capacity falls below 15%.

ICU capacity is still below 15%, Covid cases and deaths are still soaring but Newsom just lifted the lockdown order anyway.

What data is Newsom using to justify opening up California even though Covid is still surging?

Newsom is hiding the key information and said the data is just too complex and would confuse and potentially mislead the public.

Senator Hawley urges Americans to push back against corporate ‘muzzling’ of free speech as liberals continue shouting ‘traitor’

US Senator Josh Hawley (R-Missouri) has received accolades for penning an op-ed in which he denounced Big Tech’s control over free speech, but the Republican’s critics are still furious at him for challenging the 2020 election.

Writing in the New York Post, Hawley warned that “corporate monopolies” were silencing alternative views that they don’t like and “forc[ing] their political agenda on America.”

Comparing the situation in the United States to China’s “social credit score,” the Missouri senator claimed a growing army of “trained enforcers of woke orthodoxy” was being used to detect dissent.

The alliance of leftists and woke capitalists hopes to regulate the innermost thoughts of every American, from school age to retirement.

Hawley has labeled himself a victim of such tactics. The lawmaker became a target of liberal activists and media outlets after he challenged the presidential electors from Pennsylvania, claiming the state had violated its own election laws. Numerous court cases have dismissed cases that alleged similar unlawful activity.

He was later accused of playing a role in inciting rioters who stormed the Capitol on January 6, and was subsequently dropped by his publisher, Simon & Schuster, which had asked him to write a book about political censorship in the country. An independent publisher, Regnery Publishing, announced last week that it would bring out his book.

It's time to stand up against the muzzling of America https://t.co/rrTrtfrYZn via @nypost

— Josh Hawley (@HawleyMO) January 25, 2021

Hawley was one of several lawmakers who publicly questioned the integrity of the 2020 election results. As a result, many have blamed him for helping, even indirectly, to foment the chaos in the capital.

A hotel has also pulled out of hosting a political event for Hawley, claiming that it did not want to be associated with individuals who “supported and incited” the unrest in the capital.

Citing these experiences over the past three weeks, the lawmaker said now is the time to take action and defend the First Amendment from corporate overreach.

His message was well-received among conservatives, even while many acknowledged that there was a bumpy road ahead for those who wanted to safeguard freedom of expression.

Excellent article. Everyone needs to read and retweet. #Americans cannot be gripped by fear. So many are #brave…But too many are acting like cowards. There is nothing to fear when #americans who stand for our #Constitution unite in #truth

— YellowHammer (@YellowH54283361) January 25, 2021

I agree, but will people do this? It's gonna take work, its gonna be uncomfortable but we must do it to save America.

— Michele (@LSUFaninAL) January 25, 2021

Others said they agreed with Hawley’s somber assessment but thought that the GOP was far from blameless, accusing the Republicans of failing to protect conservatives and Donald Trump supporters from “domestic terrorism” allegations being hurled by Democrats and the media.

The GOP is going to have to deal with the fact that they let Dems and the media call all Trump supporters domestic terrorists and they did not defend the people they serve. We won’t forget it.

— Laura (@leeleelow411) January 25, 2021

However, Hawley’s detractors were equally vocal with their continued insistence that the senator was guilty of egging on violent demonstrators and threatening the safety of his fellow lawmakers. Countless people responded to his op-ed with messages and memes calling him a “traitor.”

Antifa rioters smash up Tacoma in rampage over cop driving through crowd

Antifa rioters descended on Tacoma, Washington, starting fires and trashing buildings in outrage over viral video of a police officer driving his squad car through a crowd of illegal street racers.

Videos showed numerous fires and businesses smashed up late Sunday as at least 200 people took to the streets close to where the officer had sped through a crowd the previous night, running over at least one person.

At least two police cars were damaged during the rampage as some city buildings had to be evacuated, according to the News Tribune.

A cheering mob — dressed in all black and at one point seen toting an Antifacist Action flag — was also caught on video trying to pull away the gates protecting the Pierce County Jail, chanting, “Free them all.”

Tacoma police said they also busted two people trying to get onto the roof of an unspecified secure building — saying they were armed with a handgun, double-bladed knives and batons.

The pair — a 32-year-old man and 36-year-old woman — were wearing all black, tactical riot gear and ski masks, police told the News Tribune. A third suspect with them got away, police said.

Others in the mob chanted “Black lives matter” and called for defunding the police, and at least one was spotted carrying a rifle, the Seattle Times said. A minivan stacked with bottles was on hand to support the protesters, the paper said.

Local activists were angered at the destruction that they insisted was sparked by outsiders to the city, which is about 30 miles south of Seattle, one of the flashpoints for ongoing anti-police riots.

Local business owner Alexander Schelhammer, who said he has been “resisting” police and the city during previous peaceful protests, said he confronted some of the mob as they lit trash cans in the street.

“Somebody started lighting it on fire and I asked them ‘Yo, are you from here? Are you from Tacoma?’ He said, ‘No,'” Schelhammer told the News Tribune.

“Lighting a trash can on fire in my city is not OK … No one from Tacoma lit that on fire.

“This protest isn’t being led by people on a megaphone from Tacoma,” Schelhammer said.

DOJ Watchdog Probing Whether Officials Tried To Interfere With 2020 Election Results

The Justice Department's inspector general, Michael Horowitz - a Democrat donor whose wife helped run campaigns for Democrats before joining CNN's Washington bureau - is investigating whether DOJ officials "engaged in an improper attempt" to overturn President Biden's victory in the 2020 election, according to the Wall Street Journal.

"The investigation will encompass all relevant allegations that may arise that are within the scope of the OIG’s jurisdiction," said Horowitz, who was accused of pulling punches to give special treatment to establishment darlings during his investigation of the FBI's conduct surrounding the 2016 US election.

Horowitz said that his office would not comment any further on the investigation until it's completed.

His announcement comes days after the New York Times reported that a top DOJ official and President Trump had conspired in the final days of his presidency to removing the acting attorney general and install a loyalist who could somehow change the results of the election in key battleground states.

Trump was allegedly considering replacing acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen with Jeffrey Clark, acting head of the DOJ's civil division.

When it came to his investigation of the FBI, Horowitz notably never interviewed Carter Page - who the agency targeted by fabricating evidence to defraud the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act Court (FISC).

Although Horowitz says he conducted more than 100 interviews of witnesses, including Christopher Steele, who wrote the salacious and unverified anti-Trump dossier the FBI relied on to obtain the wiretap warrant, he failed to interview Page, the target — and alleged victim — of the controversial warrant. Page confirmed to RealClearInvestigations that no investigator from Horowitz’s office asked him questions.

That is not the first time Horowitz has failed to interview key subjects. With the help of seasoned federal investigators, RealClearInvestigations deconstructed previous probes by his office, combing through the footnotes and appendices of his reports. RCI found numerous instances in which Horowitz stopped short of pursuing evidence and was content to take high-level officials at their word, even in the face of conflicting evidence. -RealClear Investigations
