They teach people wrong things (subtly) in high school and college to steer them away from things.
1) You can't do it because smarter people than you say you can't. (FALSE)
2) Certain things are explained in ways that the equations are coherent (some parts of thermodynamics and electronics, for example), but the explanations they give for why the equations are the way they are are incorrect. (VERY SNEAKY)
3) You can't do it because you're only one person and it takes huge corporations to do remarkable things. (FALSE)
4) If you actually try to do new things, you are immediately copied by unfair competition backstopped by their corrupt system.
5) If you actually do new things you are unmercifully attacked by their corrupt system.
Conclusion: DO IT ANYWAY. FUCK THEM.
