Though there have been theories about the potential for Red Dawn style scenarios, they are far less common in popular cultural reference than the concept of Alien invasion. Ya think? Based on observation the last few years it seems like they will only think what they are told. Won't matter how crazy or fascist the polices are, if they're told to cheer they will.
I fear a large part of The Plan relies on unifying the people by getting the 'left' to save the 'right' from the excesses of a clearly tyrannical progressive administration. Sadly I don't have faith in the people that have failed to recognize the plain obvious truth over the last few years. I have come to believe most of them would stand by quite happily and watch us all loaded into cattle cars for the trip to the death camps.
