To all those anons saying Biden is illegitimate because he took the Oath of Office before noon:

Article 2, Section 1:

>Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:-"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

The key is "before he enter on the Execution of his Office". While the executive power transfers at noon on Inauguration Day, the Constitution makes clear any time before noon is permissible. The flexibility provided by the text grants ample time to take the Oath, which is actually a good thing.

Since Obama failed to take exactly this Oath before noon on Inauguration Day, I'd wager he could have been impeached, if anyone cared enough to try.

Biden isn't legitimate for other reasons, but just wanted to squash this bug.
