I wonder if this is more of a move to get Trump to testify over something in support of bringing individuals to justice? Or if this is just simply Mueller throwing the deep state off the trail, making it look like he is actually investigating POTUS.
If there were criminal activities that were discovered while investigating POTUS and going to be used against POTUS it would need to go to congress, who would the proceed with impeachment. Then there might be testimony from POTUS..
Agreed, you would think Mueller would be aware of this… Perhaps he is, and is using it to make it look like he is still pursuing POTUS investigation.
