forgiveness doesnt mean cozying up to them. No one expects a victim to cozy up to their victimizer. Will I give someone the truth? Of course I will. Will I help someone who is truly sorry? Of course. That doesnt mean we will be best buds. I've seen mask nazis wish death of the families of non-maskers. Will I forgive them? Of course, but there is a huge difference between being nice and being kind, and forgiveness doesnt exempt them from getting direct and blunt truth. That doesnt mean their feelings get spared.
