Evolution is an observable reality.
The problem comes when one fails to stick with observable science.
Watching a plant overcome environmental hardship through genetic memory and sporadic mutation does not equal "We all came from a monkey".
Do things evolve?
Yes.
Does that mean you magically understand the genesis of consciousness?
No.
