I wrote the following blurb yesterday, I was going to review and continue writing/editing today but it seems to fit right in here, right now. So I'll present as is, unfinished.
My theory - have at it!
We are currently in a very real, worldwide war.
The protagonists are as follows.
On one side, the globalist technocrats who seek to impose a one world government, based on the China model, where an elite technocracy controls everything and the people of the world are relegated to serfs. Their wargame is called The Great Reset. (GR)
On the other side, the nationalists, who believe in national sovereignty where national governments choose to co-operate through treaties and trade deals for the benefit of their individual populations. Their wargame is called The Great Awakening. (GA)
Both sides have wargamed their respective strategies using Synthetic Environment for Analysis and Simulations (SEAS) and Sentient World Simulation (SWS) to develop strategies to achieve the outcomes desired by the respective sides.

SEAS and/or SWS are now being applied by both sides in a live, silent Information War.
The GR model relies on the greater part of the global population being, and remaining, unaware of this silent war and the desired Globalist outcome.
The GA model relies on the greater part of the global population awakening to the silent war and exposing and resisting the outcome the Globalists wish to impose.
Learning Artificial Intelligences (AIs), with total access to the WWW, are conducting the war for the respective sides, using opposing plans and strategies with mutually exclusive outcomes. These AIs constantly learn from, and react to, real, live responses from every person on the planet who has been mapped by SWS/SEAS, which by now is probably 80% plus. Thus, the Plans of both sides are continually being updated according to the individual responses of every person mapped by SWS.
There are continual moves and countermoves as the respective sides/AIs battle for dominance. The key to winning is THE PEOPLE since they are what (who) informs the AIs and modifies their strategies. If the majority stay asleep then the Globalists will be able to impose their GR Plan without contest. If THE PEOPLE wake up and engage in the information battle by exposing the GR Plan, it is automatically thwarted, since its success is wholly dependent on an unsuspecting population being unaware of the outcome that the GR Plan is programmed to achieve.
The ammunition used to weaponise the GR Learning AI is suppression of truthful information, dissemination of misinformation, lies, and censorship; anything that keeps the population in the dark about the GR plan.
The ammunition used to weaponise the GA Learning AI is truth; individual people engaged in voting, lobbying, communicating truth statements via the internet, and any other truth-based internet activity that the GA AI can learn from and use to counter-attack and disrupt the GR Plan.
Because both Plans have been wargamed to achieve a specified outcome, once engaged they cannot be changed, except by the AI implementing attacks and counter-attacks in response to THE PEOPLES’ activities, otherwise the programmed outcome would not be achieved. I am reminded of an article I read about AI diagnoses of disease which had over 90% accuracy, but neither scientists nor doctors were able to track or understand how the AI arrived at the diagnoses. If the “how” and “why” are not understood then it is counter-productive, or even dangerous, to interfere mid process for obvious reasons.
Far-fetched? Maybe. You decide.
